Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice

Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice (CPPP) is a professional sub-group within the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP). The membership is made up of Chartered Physiotherapists in private practice, serving local communities across the Republic of Ireland.

The CPPP is run by volunteers. The Executive of CPPP are elected from practicing members, in accordance with the governance outlined under the ISCP articles of association, rules and responsibilities. These include meetings of the Executive and the Annual General Meeting of CPPP.

The main aims of CPPP is to provide support, advice, training as well as lobbying on all matters pertaining to private practice. CPPP achieves these aims by providing:

  • Support and advice to members.
  • Representation on Standing committees of the ISCP.
  • Appropriate education and training for CPPP members to maintain the highest standards of the profession.
  • Lobbying with the ISCP on significant issues of interest to the members and the profession by engaging with key stakeholders such as central government and policy makers as well as commercial bodies such as insurance companies.
  • Promotion and acknowledgement of CPPP members’ contributions and standing nationally.

Welcome to our community! We are here to support, advise & educate each other as together we are stronger.

The Committee are currently looking at a wide range of training options.  In the meantime, CPR courses are currently taking place.  The last three in the current group are Kildare on 12th October, Tipperary on 19th October and Sligo on 26th October.  If you wish to attend you can do so by booking via the ISCP Calendar of Events.
